Module IC · Inventory Controller

Stock numbers you can actually trust.

Inventory Controller tracks what’s on the shelf, what’s running low, and what’s on order — so a job doesn’t sit waiting on material, and nobody has to count everything by hand to find out.

What it fixes

  • Stock counted by hand, and nobody fully trusts the number
  • Running out of a material halfway through a job
  • Purchase orders lost in email threads
  • No record of who adjusted stock, or why
Parts list · IC

What’s in Inventory Controller.

Stock items

  • Categories, barcodes, serial numbers, unit cost, and default price
  • A reorder point that flags items as low or out of stock
  • Mark each item as bought in or made in-house from its bill of materials
  • A preferred supplier for each item

Purchasing

  • Suppliers and the items they supply, with a preferred supplier per item
  • Purchase orders from draft to ordered, partially received, and received
  • Receive deliveries against the PO, in one go or in parts
  • PDF purchase orders with your VAT number

Stock takes

  • Assign counting to team members by category
  • Count by scanning, or export a count sheet and import the counts from CSV
  • Reverse a submitted stock take — an auditable undo, not an edit

Every movement on record

  • A stock ledger for every item: each change, the reason, the new quantity, and who made it
  • Material checked off on a work order comes off stock automatically, and received purchase orders add to it
  • Finished goods go back on stock when a work order completes
  • Export your stock list to CSV

Labels and scanning

  • Print barcode or QR labels, or both, as a PDF
  • Look up or count stock by scanning with a phone camera

Questions on the job

Inventory Controller, answered.

Can I count stock with a phone?

Yes. Stock takes can be counted by scanning each item’s barcode or QR label with the phone’s camera. You can also export a count sheet, count on paper, and import the numbers back from CSV.

Does it handle items I make myself?

Yes. Mark an item as made in-house and give it a bill of materials. When a work order for it completes, the finished items are added to stock.

Does it support multiple warehouses?

Not at the moment. Inventory Controller tracks one stock count per item. If you need separate locations, tell us — it helps shape what’s built next.
