Pricing, people and privacy
The practical side of running Fabristack: what each module costs, how the trial and billing work, how roles control who sees what, and what happens to your data.
Pricing and billing
What each module costs
| Module | Per month, VAT included |
|---|---|
| Order Management | R249.99 |
| Inventory Controller | R199.99 |
| Compliance Tracker | R199.99 |
| All three | R649.97 |
Each module is its own monthly subscription for your whole company, with up to 10 people on the team (more seats can be added for an extra fee), so you pay only for the modules your business uses. Reminders on WhatsApp and email are part of Compliance Tracker and aren’t charged separately.
The free trial
Your 30-day free trial starts when you create your account, with all three modules switched on. No card is needed to start.
When the trial ends, any module you haven’t subscribed to becomes read-only. Nothing is deleted or locked away: you can still open and export everything you put in, but you can’t add or change anything in that module until you subscribe. If your company has had no trial or subscription for 12 months, its records are deleted. We email the account owner a month before, so there’s time to export them.
Billing
Subscribe in Settings › Subscriptions and pay by card, processed securely by Paystack. Modules renew monthly on the same date.
Add a module part-way through a month and you pay only for the days left until your renewal date, so everything renews together. A tax invoice for every payment is in Settings › Subscriptions.
Owners and Admins manage billing. Managers and Bookkeepers can see it.
Cancelling
There’s no contract. Cancel a module whenever you like and it won’t renew. What you’ve already paid for stays active until the end of the current month, and after that the module becomes read-only, the same as at the end of the trial.
Email contact@atticdevs.com. A real person will answer before you commit to anything.
People and access
The roles
Everyone gets a role, and the role decides what they see and what they can change. Someone who does two jobs can hold more than one role, and gets the most access any of them gives.
| Role | What they work with |
|---|---|
| Owner | Everything, including billing and the team. |
| Admin | Everything, including billing and the team. |
| Manager | Everything day to day. Can see billing, approves large purchase orders. |
| Sales / Order clerk | Orders, customers and payments. Sees production and stock, without changing them. |
| Production / Workshop | Work orders and their materials. Sees orders and stock. |
| Stock controller | Inventory and purchasing. |
| Driver | Only the deliveries assigned to them, without prices. |
| Compliance officer | Compliance Tracker. |
| Bookkeeper / Accounts | Payments and the money side. Sees orders, stock and purchasing, and billing. |
| Auditor | Sees orders, stock, purchasing and compliance, without changing anything. |
Prices and payments are hidden from roles that don’t deal with money, such as drivers, stock controllers and compliance officers.
Adding people and changing roles
Change someone’s role, or remove them, from the same screen. Give each person the narrowest role that covers what they do every day: widening it later is easy.
Signing in safely
Each person can turn on two-step sign-in in Settings › Security, so a code is emailed to them every time they sign in.
Your data and privacy
What Fabristack stores
| Module | What is stored |
|---|---|
| Order Management | Customers and their contacts, orders, line items, work orders, deliveries and signatures, payments, and the documents you upload. |
| Inventory Controller | Items, counts and stock movements, suppliers and their bank details, purchase orders and what was received. |
| Compliance Tracker | Certificates and audits with their dates and checklists, and the WhatsApp numbers reminders go to. |
Who can see it
Only people in your company, and only what their role allows. The rules are enforced by the database itself, not only by the app.
Your customers see only their own order’s tracking page, through its link.
It stays yours
If a trial or subscription ends, your records stay viewable and exportable. If your company has had no trial or subscription for 12 months, its records are deleted. We email the account owner a month before, so there’s time to export them. The Privacy policy has the details.
